When you create an account with Promptio, we collect basic information such as your name and email address. If you sign up using Google authentication, your Promptio account username will be prefilled with your name and your public profile picture from your Google account.
The information we collect is used to provide and improve our service. This includes your task data, groups, time tracking information, and calendar heatmap data. We use this information to deliver the core functionality of Promptio and to help you build better productivity habits.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. If you cancel your account, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for account recovery, after which your personal information will be permanently deleted. What data we store, we'll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law. We may use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and service improvement purposes, but this data cannot be used to identify you personally.
For payment processing, we use trusted third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Your payment information is handled securely by our payment processor in compliance with industry standards.
When you use our AI-powered analytics features, your task data may be processed by third-party AI service providers to generate insights and recommendations. This data is processed securely and is not used to train AI models or shared with other users.
We act in the capacity of a data controller and a data processor with regard to the personal data processed through Promptio and the services in terms of the applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have certain rights under GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. If you are a California resident, you have rights under CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion of your data.
